Digital Data Software LLC Privacy Policy
At Digital Data Software LLC (“Digital Data Software”), we respect and protect the privacy of visitors to our website, our customers who use our on-demand software, tools and services offered on the LinRT website. Digital Data Software maintains a strict policy to ensure the privacy of our customers and visitors. Simply put, we will not release information about you (including your full name, mailing address, or phone number) to any third party without your consent unless :
- We are required to disclose information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
- The product you are using becomes owned by another party either through a merger or acquisition.
Information Gathered
Digital Data Software gathers a variety of information about our visitors and customers, including, but not limited to, IP address, referring page, pages visited, and the length of time you spend on the site. In addition, Digital Data Software uses Cookies to both track visitors on the LinRT website as well as to remember Subscriber’s usernames when they log into the LinRT HelpDesk Panel. People who sign up to use one of Digital Data Software’s products and services (collectively “Customers” “Subscribers” ) or who request certain marketing materials will be required to provide additional information such as company name, address and, phone number. We also require billing information (either credit card information or billing address) for Customers by using our PayPal Payment gateway.
The information gathered is not shared with any third party.
Choice / Opt–Out
Digital Data Software’s Privacy Policy tolerates only permission-based email to access to LinRT HelpDesk panel, pre-build images, SDKs, and only by SSH/HTTPS encrypted connection with Private RSA Key to get LinRT’s BSP sources on our git servers. In addition, users always have the opportunity to opt–out or change preferences via a link in the footer of all non–transactional email messages. These options are made available in email messages delivered from our company.
Some communications (e.g. important account notifications and billing information) are considered transactional and are necessary for all Digital Data Software Customers and LinRT Subscribers. You must cancel your LinRT account to unsubscribe from these communications.
Information Uses
Digital Data Software may use the information gathered for billing, identification, authentication, service improvements, and contact including internal marketing efforts.
Security Measures
Digital Data Software works to protect the security of your information during transmission encrypting information sent to and from our servers (Secure HTTPS web with registered SSL certificate) when using or accessing Digital Data Software’s applications, LinRT’s BSP sources, pre-build images, and LinRT HelpDesk Panel. Changes
Digital Data Software may, from time to time, change this privacy policy. If there are material changes to the policy we will either send an e-mail to the registered primary contact of our customers or post a prominent notice on our website.
US-EU Privacy Shield
Digital Data Software complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries. Digital Data Software has certified that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement and Liability. If there is any conflict between the policies in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. In compliance with the EU-US Privacy Shield Principles, Digital Data Software commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information. European Union individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding this privacy policy should first contact the address below in the “Questions” section.
Digital Data Software has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the EU-US Privacy Shield Principles BBB EU PRIVACY SHIELD, a non-profit alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States and operated by the Council of Better Business Bureaus. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint, or if your complaint is not satisfactorily addressed, please visit www.bbb.org/EU-privacy-shield/for-eu-consumers/ for more information and to file a complaint.
Please note that if your complaint is not resolved through these channels, under limited circumstances, a binding arbitration option may be available before a Privacy Shield Panel.
In cases of onward transfer to third parties of data of EU individuals received pursuant to the EU-US Privacy Shield, Digital Data Software is potentially liable.
Digital Data Software is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Please be aware that Digital Data Software may be required to disclose an individual’s personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security of law enforcement requests.
Questions & Right to Access
Digital Data Software acknowledges the individual’s right to access their personal information. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data, should direct his query to the address below. If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
